Veritas Press Omnibus Courses (grades 7th-12th)
Omnibus is a Latin term meaning “all-encompassing” and that is a good description of these courses for middle and high school students. Combining history, theology, and literature, these courses help students grow in their appreciation of the unity of all knowledge. Each year offers two courses; the primary books course and the secondary books course. They can be taken separately, but taken together, students earn three credits—history, theology, and literature.

Dave’s engaging stories bring history to life while analyzing real events through a biblical lens with God’s sovereignty at the center. The course incorporates hands-on projects giving your student a robust experience with the subject matter. Language Arts
Script-n-Scribe Cursive Curriculum
Roller Coaster Writer is an enjoyable way to learn cursive letter formation, and The Letter Connector is a great introduction to connecting those letters. I appreciate that it approaches the letter combinations based on phonograms, then words, then sentences.
Grammar for Writers
Designed to help students become better writers, Grammar for Writers teaches them to analyze their own writing, discover problems, and write better sentences. The result is less fear about getting grammar wrong, and more freedom in the flexibility that English affords your homeschool student. The series is taught by Jonathan Rogers, author of The Wilderking Trilogy and The World According to Narnia.
Compass Classrooms’ Creative Writing
Do you want to put your child in a master-class for composing fiction? Jonathan Rogers uses popular novels such as To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hobbit and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to teach creative writing and deliver a practical lecture series your student will love. Streaming options are available on Compass Classroom.

Drawing with Rembrandt
Drawing With Rembrandt is an easy-to-use, all-in-one online course for elementary students, designed to help beginners discover that “you CAN learn to draw!” History and art come alive as Rembrandt (AKA Justina of Jus’ Classical) guides your child through simple projects. Your child will quickly learn the basics from a Dutch Master but also find that even a Master erases and tries again.
