Reflections

Jesus isn’t just a good man and teacher, He is God the Son!

How did Christ, being God the Son, become man?

“Christ who is God the Son became man by being conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit with a real body and soul in the womb of the virgin Mary.”

Christ and His Work, Songs for Saplings, Vol. 3

Jesus wasn’t just a baby, He is Son of the Most High!

There is none higher than the Most High. How amazing that the Most High willingly came low!

We needed the Son of the Most High to come low – to visit us, to walk with us, to sympathize with us, so we can know the Father. We needed the Son of the Most High to come low – to intervene for us, to atone for us, and intercede for us, so we can draw near to God.

This is the reason we rejoice at Christmas! The Son of the Most High came low for us! What a gift of grace!

Discussion

What peace do we have because the Son of the Most High was born? How do we know the Most High keeps His promises?

Neighbors & Nations

We are blessed to be a blessing. Whether near or far, God’s heart is to make His name known so people from every nation will worship Him.

What can our family do today to make God’s name known?

Ideas for December 11

  • Gather all the items you collected for the missionaries’ care package from December 3rd.
  • Mail the package or letter you have been working on.
  • Pray for the missionaries to trust the Most High for all their needs and to have opportunities to share Him with those who have not heard.
