Reflections
There is none higher than the King of Kings. There is none mightier… none stronger… none with more authority… none with greater power. Of all the
kings the world has ever known, there is only one King who reigns supremely higher. He is triumphant over every enemy, victorious over every battle, and worthy of all glory and honor and praise.
He is the only Soverign, but we do not yet clearly see him ruling. We see evil hearts living in darkness around us. We see the theif, Satan, stealing, killing, and destroying. We see people holding tight to sin.
But one day the King of Kings is returning, and He will put an end to sin.
The only reason He can end sin without ending us is because He first came as a baby wrapped in our flesh, to live for us, to die for us, and to live again.
Where is Christ now?
“Christ rose bodily from the grave on the third day after his death and is seated at the right hand of the Father “
New City Catechism, Question 49
The King of Kings entered our world as a baby. He did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. This King of Kings, Jesus, is ours by grace through faith. He is coming again, and, with great joy, we will see Him rule and reign as King of Kings! What a wonderful reason to celebrate!

Discussion
Since we have King Jesus and are citizens of His Kingdom, how do our lives look different from those who do not have Jesus as their King?
