Here’s a look at a printed version of the Homeschool Life Planner. You buy the download here and print what you want, so it’s customized for you. Here’s how mine turned out!
I had it printed at Office Depot. It is spiral bound with a clear plastic cover on the front and a blue plastic cover on the back. We have a Business Solutions card that gives incredible discounts for printing at Office Depot. If you are a CC family enrolled in a community, you have access to this discount too. Ask your director!
This is printed on regular copy paper, 2-sided. There is not much showing through from the back side. Last year I had it printed on 24 lb. paper, which was just a little thicker than this one. If you want to be sure you absolutely can’t see through from front to back, you might want to consider the 24 lb. paper.
The margins have plenty of room, and you could even 3-hole punch and use in a binder.
The weekly pages keep my week running smoothly. I love using erasable pens and erasable highlighters on these planner pages.
I’m pleased with the lesson plans. We started school last week, and the colors helped us stay on track. All the kids have the same colors for the order they move through their day, so this helped everyone know what they should do next. My high schooler of course was more independent, but since he knew what the little ones were supposed to be working on, he could help them stay on task.
I especially like that I don’t have to write out too much for each day. We just do the next thing in each strand/subject, and I have it all written in this one place. If you want a customized lesson page like the one above (with all the subjects filled in for each child), just contact me for details. It’s only $2 added to the price of the planner.
To mark each section, I added reusable tabs. Each week, I just move them to the next page, and it’s ready to go!
