I created JAM with Latin when my older 2 were going through the Henle Latin textbook. I saw a need to help guide others in learning Latin through this very old text. In the process i have seen God’s hand in Latin beaucse of the patterns that are the building blocks to knowledge.
We Draw to Learn: Cycle 2 Science
We Draw to Learn takes Classical Conversations Cycle 2 science memory work and turns each week into a drawing lesson with step-by-step drawing instructions that students can do. Drawing and labeling their memory work not only combines CC review with drawing lessons, but the simple act of drawing dramatically aids knowledge retention! Studies show that drawing information can improve recall by more than double compared to just writing the information down!

Make Classical Conversations Cycle 2 Medieval to Modern History Sentences come alive! There is a craft or hands-on activity for each week. I’ve geared these crafts for preK-3rd grade using supplies that most people have around the house. Also includes A Fast Facts section in each week’s activity. It has facts about the history topic. These can be a resource for you as a parent or you can share with your curious child.

Challenge A Research Notebook
If you have a student going into Challenge A, this is a great companion notebook for the Research strand! It will provide a place for all the research, outlines, bibliographies, checklists, the final copy, and even visual aids, drawings, and diagrams for the first 10 weeks of research. By keeping their work all in one place, it creates a wonderful portfolio of your student’s work at the end of the year! It also gives a little framework based on what they learned in IEW so that they can keep those skills sharp while moving into LTW!
